Each purchase is assessed in real time by our system, which considers several factors ā not just the available balance on your card.
If this is your first time using Scalapay
You might have a lower limit at first. This limit can increase over time if you use Scalapay regularly and pay on time. In the meantime, you can try:
using a credit card (your data is always safe)
reducing the total order amount
If youāve already used Scalapay before
You can try:
paying one or more pending installments
placing an order with a lower total amount

š³ Why is my first installment higher than the others?
Sometimes the first installment is higher because your spending limit doesnāt cover the full amount of the order.
The total doesnāt change ā you just pay a bit more upfront, and the remaining installments will be lower.

No, installment amounts canāt be modified. If youāre offered this option, it means youāre still being given the chance to complete the purchase even if your limit is low.
