For security reasons, we can't provide a specific explanation as to why your order was declined.

💡 What to do if your order is declined
Check with your bank 🧾
Sometimes the transaction is blocked by your bank — we recommend getting in touch with them.Try a different card 💳
If you have another card available, try to place the order again using it.Do you have any overdue installments? ⏰
If you have unpaid installments on your Scalapay account, you won’t be able to place new orders. Please pay off your pending installments first.
🔁 Have you tried everything but your order is still declined?
In this case, you won’t be able to use Scalapay for now. We suggest trying again later.
💶 I’m exceeding my spending limit: what can I do?
Each purchase is assessed in real time by our system, which considers several factors — not just the available balance on your card.
If this is your first time using Scalapay
You might have a lower limit at first. This limit can increase over time if you use Scalapay regularly and pay on time. In the meantime, you can try:
using a credit card (your data is always safe)
reducing the total order amount
If you’ve already used Scalapay before
You can try:
paying one or more pending installments
placing an order with a lower total amount
Still declined?
Unfortunately, even after trying everything, we can’t guarantee the order will be approved.
If it still doesn’t work, please try again in the future.
💳 Why is my first installment higher than the others?
Sometimes the first installment is higher because your spending limit doesn’t cover the full amount of the order.
The total doesn’t change — you just pay a bit more upfront, and the remaining installments will be lower.
Example 💡
Order of €120, available limit €90
→ You pay €30 extra + the first installment, then the next two will be smaller.
⚖️ Can I request equal installments?
No, installment amounts can’t be modified. If you’re offered this option, it means you’re still being given the chance to complete the purchase even if your limit is low.
👉 Don’t worry: if your current spending power is lower than you’d like, it will increase as you keep using Scalapay and paying on time.
