🥱 Biometric login (App only) — Recommended!
Using Face ID, Touch ID, or your fingerprint is the fastest and most secure way to access your Scalapay account on the App. Once set up, you won’t need to enter your PIN every time you log in.
✨ It takes less than a minute and makes every login effortless!
📱 Step 1: Enable biometrics on your phone
Before activating biometric login in Scalapay, make sure your phone has biometrics set up and has given Scalapay permission to use them.
🍎 On iPhone (Face ID / Touch ID):
Open your iPhone Settings
Scroll down and tap Face ID & Passcode (or Touch ID & Passcode on older models)
Enter your passcode if prompted
Scroll to the Other Apps section
Find Scalapay in the list and make sure the toggle is turned ON 🟢
💡 If Scalapay doesn’t appear in the list yet, open the Scalapay app and try enabling biometrics from Settings first — it will then appear here.
🤖 On Android (Fingerprint / Face unlock):
The exact path may vary depending on your phone brand, but the general steps are:
Open your phone’s Settings
Tap Security & Privacy (or Biometrics and Security on Samsung)
Tap Biometrics (or Fingerprint / Face Recognition)
Make sure at least one fingerprint or face is enrolled
Once enrolled, Android will automatically allow Scalapay to use biometrics when you enable it inside the app 🟢
💡 Samsung: Settings → Biometrics and Security → Fingerprints or Face Recognition
💡 Xiaomi: Settings → Passwords & Security → Fingerprint or Face ID
💡 Google Pixel: Settings → Security & Privacy → Device unlock → Fingerprint Unlock
🔑 Step 2: Enable biometric login inside Scalapay
Open the Scalapay App
Go to Profile → Settings → Faster login
Toggle Biometric ON 🟢
Confirm with your face or fingerprint when prompted
Done! 🎉 Next time you open the app, just use your face or fingerprint to get in
💡 You can disable biometric login at any time from the same menu.
❓ Biometric not working?
If biometric login isn’t available or doesn’t work, check that:
Your phone has at least one fingerprint or face enrolled in device settings
Scalapay has permission to use biometrics (see Step 1 above)
The Biometric toggle is ON inside Scalapay Settings
If the issue persists, try disabling and re-enabling biometrics from Profile → Settings → Faster login.
